Donor Centers: Donor Choice Shirts

It's Donor Choice months at Kentucky Blood Center donor centers, meaning donors will get their choice of shirt when they donate with KBC in May and June. KBC favorites will be available at all donor centers for donors to choose from as a thank you for giving blood.

It's Donor Choice months at Kentucky Blood Center donor centers, meaning donors will get their choice of shirt when they donate with KBC from May 1 until June 24. KBC favorites will be available at all donor centers for donors to choose from as a thank you for giving blood.

Between warm-weather activities, family vacations and no school, summer is a tough time of year for the blood supply. Donations at KBC in 2022 were down more than 12% from 2019, the last summer before the COVID-19 pandemic. During the same timeframe, transfusion frequency remains consistent, putting local lives at risk.

To ensure summer is safe and enjoyable for everyone, Kentucky Blood Center is urging donors to be proactive and donate.
