Big Blue Nation, Kentucky Blood Center needs you to channel your passion toward saving local lives. The 37th annual Big Blue Crush is on campus Nov. 18–22, offering Wildcats an opportunity to beat rival Tennessee and provide lifesaving blood to Kentuckians.

KBC will have several opportunities for University of Kentucky students, faculty and staff to donate. All donation locations on campus will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

  • Gatton Student Center | Ballroom A – Monday through Friday 
  • William T. Young Library | KBC Bloodmobile – Monday and Tuesday 
  • UK Lewis Honors College – Friday

All are while supplies last! KBC will also make a $5 donation to a DanceBlue team of a donor's choosing for giving blood (donor must fill out a slip at donation).

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment, call 800.775.2522 or scroll down and click on a link below. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements.
