KBC Returns to TMMK to Boost Summer Supply

Toyota’s partnership with Kentucky Blood Center plays a critical role in providing lifesaving blood to local patients during a traditionally slow time of year (summer) for donor turnout. 

KBC will be at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky June 13-15 and June 20-22 to collect blood for more than 70 hospitals in Kentucky. 

Donations at KBC in 2022 were down more than 12% from 2019, the last summer before the COVID-19 pandemic. During the same timeframe, transfusion frequency remains consistent, putting local lives at risk.

TMMK donors will receive a Give Back, Give Blood T-shirt as a thank you for donating at the June TMMK blood drives.. Donors who enrolled in the Toyota Triple Crown Club in February can also get one step closer to earning a limited-edition duffel bag.

Donors who enrolled in the Toyota Triple Crown Club in February can also get one step closer to earning a limited-edition duffel bag. TMMK donors who complete donations during KBC's three visits in 2023 will receive a duffel bag in additon to the current thank you item.
