Ways to Give
We extend our deepest appreciation and especially wish to acknowledge the generosity of corporations, foundations
and individuals who support the mission of Kentucky Blood Center
(KBC).
Types of Giving
There are a number of ways to provide significant support for KBC's
lifesaving
programs.
- Unrestricted Gifts are especially valuable because they provide the flexibility needed to implement new procedures
and programs. Unrestricted funds also provide the resources to cover the costs of critical needs that are not
entirely financed by other support.
- Restricted Gifts benefit specific programs of the donor's choosing. Funds may be designated
for any of the Blood Center's laboratories, education programs, bloodmobiles or special services which may
be of personal interest.
- Special Occasion Gifts may be designated for any occasion - a birthday, anniversary or
memorial tribute or remembrance.
- Corporate Matching Gifts are a way to double or even triple your charitable contribution
to KBC. Matching gift forms are provided by your employer's personnel office.
- Planned Gifts, Appreciated Securities and Charitable Bequests are a flexible way to support
KBC's work while benefiting your financial future.
