Donors Get a Kings Island Ticket for Donating Blood at KBC May 5, 2024

Kings Island Promo is May 6-7 at Hillview, Middletown and Frankfort Donor Centers

Kentucky Blood Center donors can enjoy a day at Kings Island on KBC if they donate blood May 6-7 at at Louisville’s Hillview or Middletown locations or the Frankfort Donor Center.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Blood Center donors can enjoy a day at the amusement park on KBC if they donate blood Monday, May 6 or Tuesday, May 7 at select donor centers.

All donors who give blood at Louisville’s Hillview or Middletown locations or the Frankfort Donor Center May 6-7 will receive a one-day general admission ticket to Cincinnati’s Kings Island, good for any day this summer. Additional opportunities at KBC’s five other donor centers will be announced later.

Donor centers are open both days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

KBC provides lifesaving blood products to more than 70 hospitals in Kentucky. Nearly 400 donors are needed daily at KBC to ensure blood is available for everything from cancer treatments to premature births, surgeries, anemia, diseases, car accidents and more.

Appointments are highly recommended during the Kings Island promotion. Donors can schedule at any of the three donor centers at the links below, by visiting kybloodcenter.org or by calling 800.775.2522.

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo I.D. and meet additional requirements. Sixteen-year-old donors must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at kybloodcenter.org.
